2001 Schedule of Events

No 4 x 4's or sport M/C - 1975 or older vehicles only

Friday the 24th

Registration from     4 to 7 pm at Keel Park on Beach Blvd.

Tailgate Party at Ork Rock Park from     5 until ??

Muffler Rapping Contest    6 pm until???

Open Header Contest        6 pm until???

Burn-Out Contest    6 pm until???

In order to be in any of the above contests you have to be registered BEFORE 6 pm.

Saturday the 25th

Pancake Breakfast (July 4th Fireworks Fundraiser) 7 am to 11 am  ($5.00 per person)

Registration is     8 am to 11 am

Show & Shine is     11 am to 3:30 pm

Model Car Show - on display at Keel Park

Parade of Champions      3:30 to 4 pm

Poker Walk         11 am to 2 pm

Harbor Cruise       6 to 7:30 pm

Dance & Beer Garden      7:30 to 11:30  pm

Pre-Registration will guarantee you a goody bag.

Car must be licensed, street legal, and provide proof of insurance.

Attention:  If you will be attending Kool Coastal Nights this year, please keep in mind that we are on the coast - bring warm clothes as well as summer items!!

Contest Rules

Muffler Rapping Contest:

Car will be judged in stationary position.

Open Header Contest:

Car must be street legal, open headers only
Car will be judged in stationary position

Burn-Out Contest:

Only two passes allowed
Need 4-wheel brakes that are functional
If you go sideways you will be called out of the contest

Safety is a BIG CONCERN - use lights and drive smart!

Event fees:  Car show, Harbor Cruise, Poker Walk       $20.00

Goody Bags and dash plaques to the first 300 to register

Muffler Rapping Contest 
Open Header Contest                         $10.00
Burn-out Contest

Registration will be at Ork Rock Road where  the contest will be held.

Pre-registration recommended
Non-refundable after this date:  August 15, 2001

Poker Walk:  Begins at registration and ends at 2 pm on Saturday

Trophies will be awarded during the Parade of Champions 3:30 to 4 pm Saturday

Cruise Plaques given by sponsoring businesses will be awarded during the Harbor Cruise immediately following the car show.
